Welcome to The Coping Corner! I’m sure it took a lot to get here, and I’m happy you stopped by. I’m Katie Moore (she/her/hers), a clinical psychologist who works with kids (ages 5-18) and parents struggling with a variety of challenges (OCD, anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, tics, anger, and life transitions to name a few). Partnering with kids and families, I provide cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), a common type of talk-therapy that is collaborative, structured, and goal-focused. That’s a mouthful to say, I help kids understand their emotions, and develop brain, body, and behavioral tools necessary to engage in values-based living.
Alongside my use of evidence-based interventions, I’m a real human in the room who approaches others with warmth, patience, curiosity and at times, humor. My hope is that kids and parents can learn to do the same for themselves.

In-person and telehealth sessions for children and adolescents ages 5 to 18.
Individual sessions focused on building effective parenting skills to support your child throughout their development.
In-person child and adolescent groups to learn and practice skills alongside peers.
